check with Mical (Poizen) he had some copper one's made and he is selling them off
Not fitted correctly?? Manifold is warped??
Try listening to me AND DONT USE GASKETS!!! ๐
weld the manifold to the head!
if that doesnt work then make a manifold from aluminium and weld that to the head. make sure its heat resisitant aluminium ๐
Either your mani or head (@the Exhaust outlet) is warped. Try skeeming it.
Also check water temp, radiator cap as well.
And then fit Copper gaskets
If you have an aftermarket manifold then its probably that.
My 2c.
No one believed me back then....ask Freddy...I used normal clear selicone on my cheapy gasgets....and with SS....never blew....
Obveously the experts won't agree....granted...if you have an warped item...nothing will work...
my 1/2 a cent.
copper gasket spray also works nice, but it has to be straight as an arrow mabroo!
Were do you get copper gasket spray?
Any spare shop...
3000kms ago. Manifold skimmed and head checked by engineer, autozone gaskets and firegum, locknuts and spring washers.
Got nissan gaskets today look the same as the cheap ones just better cut :/
Change radiator cap, flush radiator and antifreeze. It could be a cooling prob.

If i could make a sugestion , dont use fire gum or gun gum ever. If you have to use anything use high heat silicone. Trust me on this.

if they go again i will take a set
When you say you're using lock nuts do you mean nylocks, or all metal stover nuts? The plastic part of a nylock will melt with exhaust heat and not lock.
no plastic on them
