It's time to move on folks...

The picture below depicts what my intention was originally with the car.

So I've decided to sell the car and the project in its entirety. I've lost interest and had enough of it. I dont have the time, energy & patience to continue. Details of the car and its associated components of the project are listed below.

No time wasters and joy riders please.

My price for all of the above is R100k.

Indeed it is. These are goodies that I've bought / salvaged / traded over the past 3 years.

P.S.
I also have 2 x 1:18 model kits that I will throw in for good measure. They are still brand new sealed in box. One is a pignose and the other is a type x with optional chuki bumper and tail lights.

Great spec list. Just complete it man. It will be a one of a kind SX in SA. Even if it takes long to complete. Build it for one of your lighties or something.

10 years from now you gonna kick yourself and say I wish I never sold my SX. Well, you will be saying that a few days after its gone.

Plus you're an advocate for our brand and a long standing member, might as well have the sexiest SX.

If I had the bucks I would of bought it.

I don't have pics of everything atm, will make an effort to go to my storage unit and take some over the weekend.

Hopefully this will help a bit.

Pic of the car taken a few weeks ago after a good wash and polish. Also taken because I'd just removed the bootspoiler

Taken at Zwartkorps some time ago

And another...

Bumper being test fitted

And another...

more... you can also see the dent on the fender as mentioned above.

I love the way OEM parts fit perfectly...

Some of the parts, please excuse the Nismo front lip for my Zee.

More..

OEM Kouki wing

OEM Kouki lights including centre garnish panel with reverse camera already fitted, Origin repeaters and lower body panel.

OEM Cupholder (Thanks Renier!!!)

New Rad overflow bottle

Some of the keys

And mirrors...

Hope these help for now...

@ D - Thanks man... I've already sold 3 of my other cars. The one being a 300ZX TT I've owned since brand new. It only had 37000km's on the clock. I really loved that car as it was the first car I ever bought brand new. Owning so many cars has become more of a headache over the past few years and I've lost the passion for it.

...and 10 years from now I'd like to see myself in fairly newish GTR, no offence... and if you had the bucks, I would've gladly sold it to you, LOL!!!

NNIZAN-R23 May 2012, 13:24

Thanks for that BK... very close to the truth, if I may add...

I've owned the car since 2007 and started on the project then already... I bought the car with some of the cash from my late mother's estate, so there's obviously that emotional attachment I have to the car.

It's been with me through my divorce and has put a smile on my face when life was really kak at times... There was a time when I was unemployed for 8 months and I still managed to hold onto it. It stood in the basement of my old office for over 2 years. I changed the oil and filters and it started first time...

My daughter absolutely loves the car and she has already "claimed" it as hers. She's even given it a name... There is no better feeling when you arrive at school with the SX to pick up your daughter and she's as excited to see the car as much as you are to be driving it and sharing that same passion for the car.

The only reason why I contemplated selling it was because of new beginings and the oppurtunity of buying a really unique house which is actually registered as a heritage building, at the time. I needed a few bob to increase my deposit for the bond and sorts to be approved.

I managed to raise the cash without selling that car at the end of the day, so now I am able to keep her and give her the love and attention she deserves...besides, it'll be the only one in SA with a full Type-X kit... The car now permanently lives at one of my storage units where I pop past time and again to start her up and drive her for a few kilo's, till I move into my new place with a garage where I can strip her down for complete restoration to for former glory...

I thiink a Build Thread is needed for this one... It wont be at awesome as Project Greenstone and Dark Knight, but I think it will be in a league of it's own...

Just the story behind this makes it more epic than any of our builds:mrgreen:
