Some S13 I did 🙂

2.2ltr,CP pistons, Darton Sleeves, Eagle rods, 48mm ITB's, HKS 272 cams, Greddy cam gears, ACT clutch.

T28 Turbo Venturi fitting them and 89mm pipe gave a 9kwkw increase on Qwerty's car

BMC Venturi difference stock on left

That turbo induction piping, is it more restrictive that a bent pipe. Because it definately looks like it wont get so heat soaked, which my Aluminum one is. How is the inside of that piping, is it smooth on the inside or like the STD S13 one??

EEro_sennin02 Jul 2007, 12:24

but yay I think the engine looks awesome, really impressed, now just a few things still, and to run it in, but wont take too long

Its smooooth especially on the outside of the bends where the airflow is the highest.

Double layered fibreglass so virtually no heat soak.
Qwerty 193kw@1bar
Dislex 245kw@1.5bar so it definitely flows air in sufficient quantities.

GGary5702 Jul 2007, 15:08

How much is it?? just for the piping.

WWarrenS1302 Jul 2007, 17:17

Ooo pretty, and worth the wait 😀 Beautiful looking engine, well done 🙂

Varies with size 89mm pipe is R296/m I know thats more than the average S13 owner pays for a service but its good shit.

GGary5703 Jul 2007, 09:26

How much for 76mm?? Do you have those venturies for a TD04, if not I will have a problem connecting it to the turbo.

Im obviously not average then 😂 .

Clearly not 🙂

If you give me the tdo4 dimensions I will make for it. I need OD, ID and length of the intake section.

76mm will be a little cheaper however I have to buy 3m of the stuff at a time so you will need to take at least 1 metre

GGary5703 Jul 2007, 12:26

I will try get the dimensions, I think the OD is 63mm and about 20mm long.

I will take a meter no stress, just need to know a price first before I say yes. How much with the venturi?? PM me if you want.

DDislex66620 Jul 2007, 12:02

Right,

long time no post.

So the calibrator fitted me one of these puppies yesterday - and even tho i already have a MASSIVE intake, i can definitely feel a reduction in lag. Not sure about power readings tho, but the but dyno also says 'YES'

GGary5720 Jul 2007, 12:22

Nice great to hear. But at R500 Ill have to keep saving 😢 .

DDislex66620 Jul 2007, 13:30

Well... I figure if you buy a CDA at R2000 you might as well spring for the extra R500 and get the PROPER venturi with it
