Ya, I wanted to keep it and use it on a SR but other thing's are more NB as per usual.

Awesome Turbo this, Barry ran one on his car for a while. GT3037 aka GT3076R

ZZookie_JDM31 Jan 2013, 08:09

Ya to avoid anymore confusion this is a Garrett GT3076R (aka GT30R aka GT3037) Ball Bearing Turbo, supplied by Turbo Direct, BNIB. Only the best!!

ZZookie_JDM31 Jan 2013, 15:08

Ok I do apologise, I was told that I got my deets all wrong, it is NOT a GT3076R, it is actually a GT30371R...

Specs:GT3071R specs(700382-3)

As you can see, comes with housing....

imho, this is a brilliant turbo for big power on a SR, (maybe slight bit laggy on a SR) perfect for lag free good power on a RB25 .. would even consider this for my vg30 single turbo..

GGrobblere31 Jan 2013, 22:06

Nice Turbo! will also check wit the people i know if they need a turbo as such.

Ps. Wanting to run a bigger turbo for more power but expecting it to have no lag...is like dating ahot girl and expecting her to act like a fugly"

Haha

Or dating a hot girl and expecting her to have brains....

According to Garrett, the turbo is suitable for 1.8L up to 3.0L

Ran one of these on a CA and it was a bit laggy but holy crap when it kicks in..... ๐Ÿ˜ˆ

ZZookie_JDM07 Feb 2013, 09:01

Did u have the A/R .64 or A/R .86?
Ya I wouldn't use it on a CA, great for SR and above.

ddjtreble07 Feb 2013, 09:15

.64....it was a slug until 4500 rpm but 350bhp out of a stock internal CA was fun when this kicked in.

DDracomoderator07 Feb 2013, 13:08

If I had 10k I would just slap my .48 exhaust housing on it...but here in rural South Africa it only the privalidged...
