New S13 Rebuild

I am Stating a new S13 rebuil in South Africa. I own a panel shop and love the S13[/img]

I will try and post some pics of the car. It is currently on the Car-O-Liner machine which will pull it straight. The front end is crushed. Looking for a place to host my pictures first.

Some info on the car and repair.

This vehicle was damaged at very high speed so it was bent hard. I would not usually take on a project like this but these cars are worth it.

I also have the resources to do the job properly. I have stripped the car completely. I need to know there are no other damages and to prevent rattles and loose parts. When im done it will be sick.

Before the car was damaged it was running a CA18 turbo motor, which I will replace with a SR20DET. I am a big fan of that motor. I run it in my Mazda Etude, I will post a pic of that project which is now completed. The 200SX has a two way limited slip diff from the states and Koni adjustable suspension. Upgraded fuel pump and regulators.

So the base is very good. I will explain the build as we go along. It should take 3 weeks with the paint.

What are you keeping from when Mike owned it??

I am keeping the 2 way LSD Diff. The suspension and the interior. There are lots of small things done as well. The only thing I am changing is the engine. I like the SR20.

where's the donor car from?

that red bit looks like a donor rear quarter skin???

Pity it wasnt the right side...then id know where to get the left side that i need

The rear quarter is from a smash that Marmic Durban had. The rest of the car is very bad. I needed the front to but the only thing that we could work with was the rear section and the left door.

Very hard to find parts, when people crash, they crash hard.

damn right...

and when they do crash, they try to charge mad-crazy prices for the seconds that can be salvaged.

i'm trying to find those vents that go under the rear quarter skins, impossible so far!

i just know when i do find them, that i will have to take the tub of vaseline with me for part payment! 😂 😂 😂
