If so please PM me your banking details and Shipping to PTA

AALB Performance01 Aug 2013, 10:11

Hi we are located in robertsville, just off main reef road roodepoort area. Elaborate on velocity stack please, just so we on the same page. Please drop us a mail and I will send you all the details. albperformance@telkomsa.net. These are really good quality I'm running 2 on my GTR and they work brilliantly.

EEnzio01 Aug 2013, 10:12

Is it a genuine Apexi product?

Will it fit an SR20 MAF? Or would it need the complete intake kit?

AALB Performance01 Aug 2013, 10:39

Yes these are genuine. I'm sure it will fit yes

EEnzio01 Aug 2013, 16:38

FYI, these are fake Apexi filters.

If you say so, we do not argue on forums. Everybody is entitled to their opinion.

EEnzio01 Aug 2013, 16:49

And before everybody gets upset about it. Here is proof:

The printed name on the filter is smudged (red over the white)
The plastic finish is too matte
The gasket supplied is red (genuine is blue)
The adaptor supplied is not the cast piece, but the obvious fong kong version (see the pic they mailed me of the filter below)
The inside of the filter is white, genuine is black

I could go on, but I think the point is made.

Not arguing, just posting proof. I was genuinely interested in buying a REAL Apexi filter

ssmoothedgp01 Aug 2013, 16:54

That's fine. I can't see any issues with them. They good enough for me. I have been on this forum for years and years. I put my reputation on these. Like I said the quality of these speak for them self.

@ ALB Performance - If this is the case , Please can I start the process for a refund

ssmoothedgp01 Aug 2013, 16:58

We will check it out. If you unhappy we shall refund you in any case. We do not swindle people at all. Turns out we were duped aswell.

Guys sale is retracted. They just arrived today and well the supplier gave us a good one. Sorry guys not our fault at all. Everybody will be refunded.

LLukem01 Aug 2013, 18:35

So who is screwing who?

ALB say they are real, they defiantly are not real.

Who knows if ALB are the importers or if they are buying from a local supplier, either way, at that price, almost half the price of genuine before you factor shipping and duty, they claim they are real? only an idiot would think they are real

Filters, rods, pistons, gaskets, bov's, turbo's etc. So much fake being sold by apparent reputable companies/dealers, ok well ALB isnt exactly reputable, but there are reputable retailers that have been caught out selling fake shit as well.

I really hope some of those people that get duped start taking legal action, its only the customers loosing out now.

Eish man, that is a little bit harsh. ALB is a respected tuning house, and they have earned respect where it matters and that is with their good quality products (and on the track and their top quality bulds btw). Which other company would admit to making a mistake, and that is all it really is a mistake?

Big ups to them for admitting and refunding the guys!! :200sx_200sx:

And if a member here said nothing? they would still be selling known fake product to customers that know no better, yeah big up to them for offering a refund when they get caught out! real hero's 🙄
