Yeah I richen it about 20% got the AFR to reflect 15 on idle which is fine, i went as far as 14.4 but it made no difference it was still very lumpy...

On my current map, on normal driving at 0 boost its about 14.7/15 which is cool but when I floor it, pedal to floor my AFR is off the scale, so I only drive at about 50% throttle at the moment for safety sake. I do think I'm running little lean, but as I don't gun it I should be safe, till I get it tuned.

I can't believe the car was tuned like that, and how the hell he achieved that!

If you have a look at my staged fuel inkjector settings you will see it progressively get greater in %, from 0% to 80%, so 20% willonly help in the lower rev and load range.

My car idles at 13.5, anything leaner and it starts to get slightly lumpy but this is because my flywheel is so light.

I would take you fuel map and copy it into my map, then at least you have all the other things already sorted out.

Give me a call and Ill explain how to tune on the road, well the way I do anyway (which is the easiest I found), cant explain in typing.

Update please...

Has the car been tuned yet??

VVladeadmin04 Feb 2008, 13:06

Nope was suppose to take it back yesterday, but had no lift, so I'll take it this afternoon...

But otherwise running fine, also a few dancing lifters but nothing that can be done there

GGary5712 Feb 2008, 08:51

Have you had the car dyno tuned yet?? How does that lambda sensor compare to the tuners one??

VVladeadmin12 Feb 2008, 12:58

No idea... Tuner took my car to the Wolf agents, he said he aint comfortable tuning it... Starting to worry... Shit... Eish... Hope they don't F anything up.

GGary5712 Feb 2008, 13:57

NOOOOOOOOOO they dont anything about WOLF, they are shit and rubbish. Try get it back and send it somewhere else.

VVladeadmin12 Feb 2008, 15:08

Talked to the guy.. told him if I'm not happy I'm not paying.

GGary5712 Feb 2008, 15:29

Ok good.

When I had my car tuned it went from 150RwKw - 138RwKw and drank petrol. They said I had a fuel pump problem. No offence but I didnt like the way they tuned my car.

VVladeadmin13 Feb 2008, 07:28

Thats way I'm saying if I'm not happy I'm not paying, and I'll keep on going back till they sort it out. 😀 I'll be a wart on there ass!... hehe

GGary5720 Feb 2008, 08:52

How did the tuning on the car go??

VVladeadmin20 Feb 2008, 10:14

rough... my graph looks more something that you'll see on your hi-fi's equalizer, numbers aint impressive but that's not what I was aiming for... they claim only 134Kw/240nm torque but on the same dyno a car claiming 350kw/500nm only made 280kw 😕

car is very much drivable got loads more powa... but my boost controller is a poprivit, so i'm taking that out immediately... they guy also ripped out my heat shielding, so I took it back, have him build me a decent thing from stainless steel... will have the car back today...

GGary5720 Feb 2008, 10:58

No matter where you get the car tuned it will always look rough. It is now up to you to do the fine tuning and get your graph smooth.

What AFR are you running and what what boost?? Also what timing are you running under boost??

VVladeadmin20 Feb 2008, 13:48

To be totally honest I havn't had a look, need to hookup the car PC again, will do so for on the way down.

GGary5720 Feb 2008, 15:34

What boost are you running?? Also did you pay him even though you unhappy??

VVladeadmin20 Feb 2008, 17:03

nah I haven't paid him... yet... he did hint something about sponsoring me for a sticker or two on my car...

GGary5712 Jun 2008, 15:00

Hey Vlade, update please. How much power are you making now??

Did Martin manage to sort out your car 😂 ?? Please send me your map, would love to have a look at it.

VVladeadmin13 Jun 2008, 06:40

Nope... car still having an issue, when boosting above 0.4 bar it seems something gets stuck or suck, because the car stalls heavily then rockets off again...

Think its the FPR, but yeah Martin never tuned it... was the guy from Signature Performance only Martin's place was used.

GGary5713 Jun 2008, 08:44

I had that, it was plugs. Go back to BCPR6ES, gap them to 0.8 and you will be perfect again. I think it is because you are over fueling so much that you cant get the plugs hot enough so are sooting them up.
