Make no mistake, it was a hell of a lot of fabrication and mods ! Strut towers, tunnel, a myriad of other things like the original boosted RB clutch master setup..Very well done.
My alternator belt is slipping and screeching all the time. Bought two aftermarket belts and still they screeched.
Went to Nissan and ordered a belt for the RB20 motor. They had in stock, fitted it and all is perfect now. The poly "V" grooves are deeper than the aftermarket stuff.
Part number is 11720 v 7300.

Belt cost R197.40 It`s looser than the aftermarket belt which I tensioned so tight to get rid of the slipping. That is just not good for any bearings and stuff.
Looked at the tension I had to use and it still slipped , I knew an original Nissan belt would do the trick. Same as RB 20 belt and that's what I ordered.
The belt problem was always the worst when I first started the car in the early mornings..remember, it is a daily driver at the moment..This morning it was perfect, no noises or squeals at all..
One problem sorted, a few still to go. 8)
Just for a reference guys, you get a aerosol spray you spray onto a noisy belt to quite it. I cant remember what its called , last used it in N.Ireland about nine years ago.
By the time you done here you could have bought and R34 GTR or maybe even a R35 with the end figure here š š

please be careful about the shipping, when i brought in my smoked ones from ebay they arrived broken both times, had to fix the one as the supplier refused to replace the 3rd time after i told him not to send ordinary mail š . make sure they ship with insurance and NOT through our post office š
Good luck they will look good š
Must fess that's been bothering me some .
May wait for a friend to bring them back for me..or preferential courier..
Also got the diff out today, now reading that the ratios are very long, too big to fit without modifying the rear subframe.
š¢ will suss it all out...

Mmmm, same info I have been getting. That`s a bugger as the ratio is too long. Std s14 is 10:40 I believe..
Oh, the gearbox ? The extension bolts off and a straight up lever can be bolted in.. š Just like the Toyota 2Jz box..
But forget straight up lever..I managed to get hold of a sequential shifter from Ikeya.... 8) 8)

Stock S14 manual final drive is also 3.7
